Raffaello di Giovanni Santi (1483-1520), known as Raphael, is widely regarded as one of the masters of the Italian Renaissance. The exhibition brings together 100 rare engravings and lithographs from its own collection, along with loans from private collectors across the United States. A number of artists and collectors from the New York metropolitan area attended the opening ceremony. NEW YORK, April 25 (Xinhua) — New York-based Murray Hill Art Museum on Saturday unveiled an exhibition of rare prints of works by Italian Renaissance master Raphael.

Raffaello di Giovanni Santi (1483-1520), known as Raphael, is widely regarded as one of the masters of the Italian Renaissance.

The exhibition brings together 100 rare engravings and lithographs from its own collection, along with loans from private collectors across the United States. A number of artists and collectors from the New York metropolitan area attended the opening ceremony.

After closing at the end of June, the rare prints will travel to Shanghai, Xi’an, and Wuhan in China, organizers said. ■
